Posting Overview:

The Director of Events oversees the development and implementation of departmental strategies and ensures implementation of hotel service strategy and hotel initiatives. The position has overall responsibility for executing all property events with a seamless turnover from sales to operations and back to sales. Ensures the team meets customer needs, ensures employee satisfaction, focuses on growing event revenues and maximizes the financial performance of the department. Develops and implements property-wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the brand’s target customer and property employees and provides a return on investment.

4+ years of hotel event management experience; 5+ years of experience with managing others

General office equipment: computer, typewriter, copier, facsimile, telephone, calculator, etc.
