Sage Hospitality Resources General Manager in Menlo Park, California
Sage Hospitality is set to hire a General Manager to lead the beautiful Hotel Nia in Menlo Park. You will be responsible for all aspects of the operations, most importantly leading a team of dynamic individuals and rallying them around a unique service culture that leaves a lasting impression with guests and associates alike. You will contain an entrepreneurial spirit that makes this Marriott Autograph Collection one-of-a-kind brand come to life, all the while precisely managing the operation keeping the hotel profitable.
Hotel Nia delivers masterfully curated experiences to inspire and create an avenue for brilliance within guests’ personal and professional lives. Featuring 250 guest rooms with a fresh take on the modern hotel, Hotel Nia provides thoughtful tech and high touch experiences to guests and visitors. The restaurant and bar features a unique and communal experience with shared coastal Northern California cuisine and inspired cocktails. Comfortable California style surrounds the pool bar and luscious courtyard and the spacious fitness center allows guests to stretch out and sweat. And as the center of Menlo Park, the 11,000 square foot flexible meeting space also opens up to 9,000 square feet of outdoor event space with sunny views.
This role will report to the Vice President of Operations within Sage Hotels as well as partnering with a collaborative ownership group that takes pride in excellence and is a great steward of its properties.

The General Manager is responsible for the successful management and operation of the hotel and demonstrates excellent leadership skills that inspire others to succeed. Ensures hotel profitability and the delivery of high scores across hotel service, quality, maintenance, and appearance. Ensures the completion and review of the hotels annual budget, marketing plan, capital expenditures plan, and implementation of the company’s policies and procedures.

Must have vision ability in order to visually inspect hotel. Walk through the front and the back of the hotel. Climbing approximately 20-30 steps 10% of the week. Physically able to regularly inspect all areas of interior and exterior of facility.
A four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience. Previous experience as General Manager or Assistant General Manager at a similar size and type of hotel or previous experience in a Department Head role within a similar hotel.
