Valet Parking Attendant

Under general supervision, provides valet services to hotel guests and ensures their satisfaction and comfort by promptly and courteously responding to their requests. Assist Doorman in meeting and greeting all guest arrivals and departures and handling of luggage.

Excellent driving record as verified by Motor Vehicle Report.
Ability to converse with guests and fellow employees.
Must be able to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
Excellent hearing required to accommodate city street and garage driving.
Excellent vision required.
Minimal comprehension and literacy required to read and interpret traffic and directional signage.
Must know current motor vehicle laws
Occasionally lifting up to 100 lbs., pushing or pulling cart up to 200 lbs. Bending/kneeling - occasionally during shift when needed to lift or load luggage into vehicle or onto cart. Driving - constant driving of vehicles to and from garages and on streets and driveways. Able to handle multiple arrivals/departures simultaneously and offer a quality experience to guests. Must have vision ability see objects and people up close and at a distance. Must have finger, hand and upper body dexterity to grasp handles, carry bundles and lift packages. Must have upper body strength to continually push, lift and carry up to 65lbs throughout the hotel during entire shift. Must be able to drive automatic and manual vehicles. Must have a valid driver’s license. Must have a driving record that meets the needs of our insurance carrier.
Must have a current valid Driver’s License. High school education or equivalent experience
Valet and guest contact experience preferred
Operate all speed shifts of vehicles and automobiles.
Work outside 75% of shift
Abnormal temperatures - exposed to winter and summer temperature extremes.
