The Spa manger is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the spa and salon.
Oversees the daily operation of spa areas.
Manage all scheduling for front desk staff, massage therapists, estheticians, salon staff, etc.
Oversee training of staff
Order retail and professional product as needed; manage a current inventory on all products
Create and aid in implementation of sales goals for staff
Fielding client concerns/comments as needed, and assisting with front desk as needed
Maintain communication with staff to ensure the smooth day to day operations of the spa
Maintain tight inventory
Maintain spa brochures and pricing
Conduct and organize regular training sessions for new procedure
Build and maintain cross-functional relationships with other departments and senior management
Create and inspire a courteous, friendly, professional work environment; Manage positive team building
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in spa management is acceptable
3 or more years of experience preferred.
In-depth knowledge of spa operations to include health, fitness, wellness or related fields
Experience and skills in budgetary, projections, and cost control
Attention to detail
Good organizational and analytical skills
Strong customer service and communication skills
