Sage Hospitality is set to hire an accomplished, driven and aggressive Sales Manager to join our team at the newly opened Hyatt Place Pena Station. The seven-story, 226 room hotel is accessible by the light rail station one block way and airport shuttle. The lobby level boosts 3,500 sq. ft. of meeting space, Gallery Kitchen, market, Starbucks, 24-hour fitness center, indoor pool, gaming area, library and business center. A large bar includes an operable wall that will open to the outside, connecting guests with the active, tree-lined outdoor design.
This hotel is part of Denver’s “smart city” design, re-imagining traditional community pillars-corporate offices, multi-family residences, healthcare, retail and hotels-as hubs for environmentally progressive, transit-oriented innovation. Proven track record as a Sales Manager (Hyatt experience is a plus!)
Skillfully uncover new accounts in a highly competitive and saturated market

The Sales Manager is responsible for selling the hotel, developing sales contacts and performing sales activities in assigned markets. Exempt Sales Managers must spend more than 50% of their time outside directly selling. Must be able to engage customers, analyzes their needs, and creates tailored proposals. Negotiates and closes sales while achieving sales targets. Effectively communicates internally and externally through various methods and across all departments.

Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
Six months minimum in sales, customer service related position or hotel experience preferred.
General office equipment: computer, typewriter, copier, facsimile, telephone, calculator, etc. .
