Job Overview

To deliver an outstanding and well-rounded sales and service experience to all guests and members by ensuring they have a welcoming, informative, and enjoyable experience when they visit; help inspire them to take the next steps in pursuing their fitness goals. To generate corporate and individual sales leads to meet revenue goals by signing new members while maintaining relationships with existing members. Responsible for providing a clean operation to exceed member satisfaction and retention while meeting/exceeding financial goals.

Responsibilities

Membership Sales: Proactively recruit and build a pipeline for memberships and services through prospecting and lead generation. Obtains leads externally from the community using company provided tools and programs with a focus on, corporate sales, community outreach, local promotions. Generates leads and new business internally through member promotions, referrals, grass roots marketing, and contacting leads via phone. Responsible for setting appointments for all leads and potential new business opportunities.

Maintain membership records, set-up new accounts, work with ASF on billing and collections. Provide monthly reports to Spa Director specific to; new and expired memberships, attrition and revenue generated to meet budget demands.

Effectively and professionally enrolls new members adhering to company sales techniques and protocols. Adheres to specific Membership Agreement Procedures (MAP) when enrolling a new member. On-boards new members successfully and assists with member retention activities to drive club profitability. Consistently achieves or exceeds personal goals.

Sales & Marketing: Implement initiatives to drive the business to increase fitness and membership revenue. Implement promotions and programs to generate new members and maintain existing membership base, remain current with industry fitness trends. Support special events, initiate B2B relationships that generated corporate memberships, attend networking and volunteer functions.

Member & Guest Experience: Ensure all members and guests have excellent customer service experiences, responsible for helping with resolution of concerns or complaints. Maintain a fun, upbeat, safe, and healthy environment for members by providing a personalized experience. Maintain strong communication with the members, work with Spa Director to create and develop information for the quarterly newsletter.

Will be required to support the operation by opening the facility, greeting members and hotel guests. This will include morning, weekend, and holiday assignments.

Education: Continue to seek out educational opportunities to keep Oxford Club on the cutting edge of fitness industry trends and products.

Operations/Facility: Responsible for cleanliness of club and equipment; including tracking of projects and work orders.

Administration: Achieves activity goals as established by management and completes all reports and assignments in an accurate and timely fashion. Contributes to the overall sales effort during planning and strategy phases through research and knowledgeable input.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs other duties as assigned or deemed necessary.

Qualifications

Education/Formal Training

Minimum of College Education is required. Degree in Fitness and or Sales and Marketing beneficial.

Experience

Minimum of 2-3 years B2B sales proven track record within the club/gym membership arena
