Job Overview
Sage Hospitality is adding a Learning & Development Program Manager to its Corporate team. This role will be based in Denver and will join a supportive and high-performing team with the aim of delivering top level results. The Learning & Development Program Manager will primarily be responsible for designing and delivering learning initiatives that enable Sage and our associates to constantly evolve and develop. You will help our associates advance their skills and knowledge in alignment with Sage’s vision and values.
In this role, you should be passionate about helping people learn and grow. Excellent communication and project management skills are essential, along with experience designing and delivering learning and development opportunities.
Responsibilities
Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops, and other trainings in alignment with adult learning theory and best practices.
Serve as lead project manager for learning and development initiatives (includes performing any necessary administrative tasks, preparing materials and other presenters, etc.) to ensure training needs and deadlines are met.
Monitor all learning events and content to ensure relevance and accuracy, update as needed.
Coordinate and manage all aspects of cultural immersion/onboarding program for key leaders in the organization on a quarterly basis, including scheduling, logistics, managing presenters, ensuring quality program is delivered.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and external vendors to build and deliver innovative training/learning solutions.
Manage stakeholders and champions of Learning & Development events and initiatives.
Assist with oversight and administration and of learning management system and related content.
Design job aids and training resources to support L&D processes.
Monitor and track participation and completion for L&D programs and processes.
Assess the success of L&D initiatives by monitoringhow effectively learning has been transferred to employees.
Create, track, and distribute L&D reports, dashboards, and metrics.
Assist Director of L&D and Sr. Director of Organizational Development with relevant initiatives like Talent Management, Engagement, and DEIB efforts.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, team player that can also work autonomously under tight deadlines. They are comfortable with a “no job too small” mentality, high-volume and fast paced environment, and is highly communicative both within their own team, as well as with internal and external clients.
Qualifications
Education/Formal Training
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (Education, Human Resources, Communication, Business, Psychology etc.)
Experience
3-5 years proven experience in the Learning & Development and training field (managing L&D programs, facilitating learning opportunities, managing stakeholders, tracking progress, and ensuring success)
Knowledge/Skills
Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods, technology, and trends.
Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices.
Ability to influence various stakeholders and champions, demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships.
Ability to plan work over a span of months to ensure annual activities and projects remain on track, organize workload to progress on multiple workstreams.
Familiarity with Talent Management processes and initiatives (ex: Performance Management, Talent Review, Engagement, etc.).
Excellent communication skills (can create engaging and visual presentation of insights and is able to adapt style to audience).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, interested in process improvement.
Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
