Job Overview
The Learning & Development Coordinator will be primarily responsible for supporting learning initiatives that enable Sage and its associates to continuously evolve and develop. This individual will support programs that help associates in advancing their skills and knowledge in alignment with Sage’s vision and values. In this role, a passion for helping people learn and grow is essential. Strong communication and administrative skills are key, with project management experience considered a plus. The Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating, supporting, tracking participation and completion, and reporting for multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the administration and support of the organization’s Learning Management System (LMS). This includes system administration and configuration, user support, content management, and reporting and analytics.
Coordinate all logistical aspects of cultural immersion/onboarding program for key leaders in the organization on a quarterly basis, including scheduling, managing presenters, and ensuring a quality program is delivered.
Drive Sage’s value of continuous personal and professional development by supporting execution of company-wide development programs, including an emerging leader program and scholarship program (among others).
Serve as support role for learning and development initiatives (includes performing any necessary administrative tasks, preparing materials and other presenters, etc.) to ensure training needs and deadlines are met.
Monitor all learning events and content to ensure relevance and accuracy, update as needed.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and external vendors to assist in the delivery of training/learning solutions.
Monitor and track participation and completion for L&D programs and processes.
Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders and champions of Learning & Development events and initiatives.
Design job aids and training resources to support L&D processes.
Gather and report on feedback related to L&D initiatives, provide initial data analysis and maintain and update dashboards.
Create, track, and distribute L&D reports, dashboards, and metrics.
Assist Director of L&D and Sr. Director of Organizational Development with relevant initiatives like Talent Management, Engagement, and DEIB efforts.

Qualifications
Education/Formal Training
4 year degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Education, Communication, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or related major
Experience
2-3 years proven experience in the Learning & Development and training field (managing L&D programs, facilitating learning opportunities, managing stakeholders, tracking progress, and ensuring success) or similar
At least one year experience working with learning management systems preferred
Knowledge/Skills
Familiarity with systems platforms.
Technical skills, including familiarity with current technologies and troubleshooting.
Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods, technology, and trends.
Ability to influence various stakeholders and champions, demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships.
Ability to plan work over a span of months to ensure annual activities and projects remain on track, organize workload to progress on multiple workstreams.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal (can create engaging and visual presentation of insights and is able to adapt style to audience).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, interested in process improvement.
Demonstrated ability in taking initiative and interest in self-development.
Proficient in MS Office.
Familiarity with working in project management software (i.e. Asana).
Detail-oriented with strong commitment to follow-through and accuracy.
Vision for efficiencies and working smarter: creating templates, dashboards, reporting, etc.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on, team player that can also work autonomously under tight deadlines. They are comfortable with a “no job too small” mentality, high-volume and fast paced environment, and is highly communicative both within their own team, as well as with internal and external clients.
