Meet group contact prior function, make introductions, and ensure that all arrangements are agreeable. Read and analyze banquet event order in order to gather guest information, determine proper set-up, timeline, specific guest needs, buffets, action stations, etc. Respond to and try fulfill any special event arrangements. Follow up on special banquet event arrangements to ensure compliance.
Responsible for the successful execution of party and special event promotions by assisting clients with set-up, decoration, meal service, and planned activities for party guests.
Responsible for effectively communicating with various departments to ensure that the event functions are executed to exceed clients’ expectations.
Develop strong customer relationships through appropriate client communication and the use of professional, courteous and ethical interaction.
Assist with completing any required event reports
Promptly follow up on all customers’ needs and inquiries in an efficient and expedient manner
Represents themselves and the hotel with the highest level of integrity and professionalism, a service focused approach and a caring, sincere attitude at all times.
Exhibits a positive and involved team attitude to all hotel departments and maintains open communication with all co-workers for the best overall performance of the hotel.
Display a neat and business-like appearance at all times
Assist sales department with client events etc.
Ensures prompt and courteous service of menu items as detailed on banquet event order.
Project and maintain positive relations/interactions with guests.
Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings and training programs as required.
Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.
Provides assistance to other hotel departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and the hotel.
Must fully comply with Sage Hospitality’s rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of the hotel facilities.
The hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Department schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands and associates may be asked to work shift other than those they prefer to normally work

EDUCATION/FORMAL TRAINING - High school education helpful.
EXPERIENCE – Hotel F&B Operations experience preferred.
