Posting Overview:

The marketing director is a high-profile brand ambassador who will work with a variety of constituency, and will focus priorities while juggling multiple tasks and goals.

This individual will be responsible for event development, production and execution as well as developing and implementing a sponsorship program.

The director will serve as liaison between local and national associations such as RTD, DDP, DCPA, Lodo District, Visit Denver, DEN, etc.

The director has ultimate responsibility for developing and executing a marketing budget, projecting ROI and tracking performance of all DUS hosted events.

Director is responsible for creating overarching vision for DUS landmark events.

The marketing director is responsible for overseeing performance of marketing manager and providing guidance and support to assist associate with professional growth and development.

Position requires excellent organization and communication skills so that daily tasks are successfully completed in an efficient and timely manner. Conducts themselves in a professional, hospitable manner to guests and staff members at all times, representing the brand of Denver Union Station as a key ambassador for the neighborhood, and community.

College degree in marketing communications. Previous event management and sponsorship development experience a must.


A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in sales or marketing, with 6-8 years in Interactive and/or social media campaigns
