The CRM Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for helping build and drive the marketing tech platform for Sage’s Hotel portfolio. This is a fast-paced, digital/technical, and customer-focused role. This individual’s core responsibility will be to own and utilize the CRM platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and support campaign execution as we strategically scale our lifecycle marketing functions across acquisition, retention and engagement initiatives. Your goal will be to create a solid foundation for lifecycle marketing to build upon and ensure flawless campaign execution across multiple touch points. This role reports into the Corporate Director of CRM.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of all lifecycle marketing programs, including optimization, troubleshooting and execution of new programs.
Support CRM campaign execution, including but not limited to template design coordination and build, list/audience segmentation, and campaign workflow/automation across multiple channels (email, SMS, Wi-Fi platform) through the entire funnel.
Provide ongoing monitoring of all customer-facing digital e-communications, including transactional (confirmation, cancellation, modification, pre-arrival and post-trip, e-survey), as well as promotional, editorial/newsletter and triggered emails.
Provide insights and reporting of trends, KPIs and metrics that are goal-centric and deliver ROI; make actionable recommendations to help influence and steer future campaigns.
Support the development of refined targeting, segmentation and testing strategies for all aspects of the CRM to ensure the most effective approach.
Assist with planning and tracking CRM campaign calendar for B2C and B2B audiences within Sage’s Hotel portfolio.
Cross-collaborate with both an agency and internal hotel marketing teams to support campaign builds while ensuring best practices and data governance are being followed.
Monitor competitor CRM programs and proactively identify new areas of opportunity.
Track and report on overall channel health, including unsubscribe rates, deliverability, etc., by creating monthly audit reports
A four year college degree or equivalent education/experience.
4+ years of experience working with CRM systems and lifecycle marketing operations, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Hands on experience building email campaigns (audience segmentation, email building, testing, execution, and reporting).
Expertise in email conversion methodologies, including copy and design approaches, segmentation and deliverability.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions from data and take action accordingly.
Demonstrated project management experience with the ability to indirectly manage and build consensus across multiple teams.
Excellent time management and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Familiar with GDPR and other related privacy laws.
Highly proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and content management software
Ability to work and collaborate with teams.
Great interpersonal and communication skills; verbal and written.
