Sage Hospitality is set to hire an accomplished Area Director of Sales and Marketing to lead our luxury boutique collection of hotels, The Oxford & The Crawford. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in hospitality sales and marketing preferably in market, strong business and financial acumen, self-motivated, and values teamwork.

Proven track record as a Director of Sales and Marketing, preferably with independent lifestyle or luxury hotel experience
Experienced leader who can effectively manage a team to ensure action plans and goals are attained
Can deploy and mentor the sales and catering team to generate budgeted revenue targets and uncover new business in a highly competitive market
Execute strategies and tactics that result in achievement of budgeted revenue, profit goals, expense management and consistent RevPAR and ADR growth
Technical skills as it relates to sales system management, weekly and monthly reporting and forecasting, goal setting and incentive calculations
Builds customer relationships and enhances lead generation from all sourcing channels
Ability to leverage relationship with hotel owners in order to gather support for strategic business plans. Proven success in owners meetings and budget presentations
Oversees and implements effective branding, marketing, social media and public relations initiatives
Works with agencies to drive revenue through digital marketing process including website development and ad campaigns
Understands CRM systems and how to affect call center conversion ratios
Develops creative programming and activations
Involved in the community and develops mutually beneficial relationships and partnerships

The Area Director of Sales and Marketing is responsible for managing and leading sales and marketing efforts for multiple hotels and may work in conjunction with hotel Directors of Sales and Marketing. Demonstrates excellent Leadership skills by advising, guiding and the development of others. Guides and supports varied sales and marketing initiatives that promotes the hotel, and achieves financial and productivity benchmarks.

Four year college degree or equivalent/education experience.
Required to have a minimum of 5 years of Director of Sales and Marketing experience.
Must be a current DOSM of a Premier & Lifestyle Division Hotel

Office environment, weather exposure when making sales calls
