The DOS will utilize hands-on sales skills as well as lead a team (a Sales Manager and Sales Coordinator). The successful candidate will also use their knowledge of the greater DC market and how the various government entities influence this lively and unique market to creatively and successfully meet revenue targets.

Posting Overview

The Director of Sales is responsible for the overall revenue ad market share results of the hotel and demonstrating great leadership. Implements strategies that support the positioning of the property. Partners with the General Manager and the Executive Committee to advise, guide and support on various sales functions and initiatives. Ensures financial and revenue goals are achieved and sales productivity benchmarks are met.

Education/Formal Training

Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.

Experience

4+ years of hotel sales experience
