This position will be based at the Home Office in Denver, CO and reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Operations Finance.

Your success will be measured by your ability to:

  • Serve as a key leader to ensure proactive recruiting, development and retention of finance talent across the company

  • Drive the successful acceptance and utilization of Sage business intelligence tools and best practices

  • Ensure accurate and consistent forecasting accuracy

  • Support property Directors of Finance such that they are well-prepared to deliver financial plans to investor/owner stakeholders

  • Lead a thoughtful and rigorous analytical process and culture to implement best practices and recommend value-add strategies and profit improvement tactics

  • Contribute to a strong culture by modeling excellent internal customer service, cross-departmental communication, community engagement and servant leadership

The ideal candidate is able to demonstrate a proven track record in operations finance preferably in the luxury, upper-upscale, boutique, and/or complex real estate industries. You will be reputed as an excellent team builder and strong coach, with the ability to recruit, retain and mentor top-quality talent while creating an environment of accountability and trust at all levels. You are able to shift between strategy and tactics; willing and able to roll up your sleeves as an individual contributor while providing strong leadership within the operations finance function. You should also have a strong understanding of complex financial structures and high profile capital partners. Minimum of a bachelor degree in finance or accounting required.

The Vice President of Finance is responsible for directing all financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis of properties. Responsible for maximizing asset value and returns on investment for our owners and equity partners. Accountable for recognizing profitability and revenue potential in business opportunities. Development of market strategy and long-term plans that positively impact the achievement of business results and demonstrating leadership versatility are critical functions of this role.

Education/Formal Training

Undergraduate degree coupled with MBA or CPA is preferred

Experience

10 years of related experience in senior finance roles in a hospitality or real estate environment.

Private equity and/or investment fund environment, a plus.
