Responsible for the receipt, verification and processing of all goods received and shipped by the hotel and it’s guests.
CUSTOMER SERVICE FOCUS

The service and courtesy you extend and promote on a daily basis will ensure a healthy and productive culture of serving others with excellence.
Receives packages/courier deliveries daily. Logs all packages received and communicate all deliveries according to the hotel policies and procedures. Tag each boxes with guest name and arrival information.
Inspects products as they are delivered to ensure freshness, proper weight, count and/or damage. Verify package count. Inspect exterior of cartons for visible damage.
Accurately fills in signature log sheet showing date, name of guest, name of meeting, and common carrier as well as carrier tracking number.
Audit package storeroom daily to identify packages that guests should have picked up. Contact Front Office to ensure message given to guest notifying them of package.
Calls appropriate departments to pick up their items
Work with vendors as necessary.
Keeps storeroom clean and organized.
Follow/adhere to Sage Hotels operating procedures including practicing proper lifting procedures and safe handling of equipment.
Practice security procedures to limit loss or damage of goods.
Assist managers with copying, faxing, scanning and shipping needs

Mobility - must be able to reach all areas of hotel to assist clients. Must be able to handle repeated lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying up to 50 lbs. Must be able to operate hand truck and dolly.
High school diploma or equivalent
One to two years’ experience in Hotel related positions would be preferred.
