This role will report to the Vice President of Shared Services Accounting as well as building collaborative partnerships with General Managers, Directors of Finance and ownership groups that take pride in excellence and are great stewards of their properties.

Your success will be measured by your ability to:

  • Provide excellent customer service to corporate executives, divisional staff and multiple hotel General Managers related to accounting needs

  • Ability to lead Property Accountants to ensure a clean financial cycle while improving existing processes

  • Work collaboratively with the Shared Services Accounting team on projects to ensure diligence and process controls are in place

The ideal candidate has a successful track record in accounting preferably in a leadership capacity, has strong financial acumen, has worked tactically closing month-end general ledger, and has effectively provided financial diligence at all levels within a business unit.

Abilities

Lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying -limited lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying up to 15-20 lbs. Generally boxes, computer equipment. Bending/kneeling -limited bending/kneeling required when arranging supplies or equipment. Mobility -limited mobility between offices and departments. No continuous standing, climbing or driving. Excellent hearing required to train and interact with management and associates. Excellent vision required to read reports, computer, etc.

Education/Formal Training

BS or BA in Accounting or Finance.

Experience

At least 3 - 5 years of full-time experience in a related field.
