Posting Overview

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for providing accounts payable services to all Sage hotels that are supported by the shared services accounting organization. Verify, obtain approvals and pay all invoices from vendors and associates in a timely, accurate manner in accordance with accounting policies and procedures. Maintain vendor records and database and ensure compliance with tax and other reporting standards

Prefer some experience with accounts payable and expense report processing

Must have ability to communicate effectively and courteously with employees, guests and contractors in writing, via telephone and in person.

Education/Formal Training

High school education or equivalent experience, some college or pursuit of degree preferred.

Experience

One year of experience in similar role. Accounting background preferred, but not required.

Material/Equipment Used

Personal computer, calculator and telephone (80-90% of time).

Environment

Prolonged sitting at indoor, thermostatically climate-controlled work area under florescent lighting.
