The Director of Sales will lead a small team at this very fast paced airport hotel. As a key part of the executive team on property, this role will utilize leadership skills to support a positive and collaborative environment and will mentor, motivate, and train the team. We are looking for a savvy, dynamic individual that thrives in a multi-tasking environment and is a strong team player. The successful DOS will use their knowledge of Marriott systems, and will be comfortable with goal setting and reporting.

The Director of Sales is responsible for the overall revenue ad market share results of the hotel and demonstrating great leadership. Implements strategies that support the positioning of the property. Partners with the General Manager and the Executive Committee to advise, guide and support on various sales functions and initiatives. Ensures financial and revenue goals are achieved and sales productivity benchmarks are met.

Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
4+ years of hotel sales experience
General office equipment: computer, typewriter, copier, facsimile, telephone, calculator, etc.
Office environment, weather exposure when making sales calls
