Just 6 miles from Uptown, lots of space and amenities, and a major refresh on the way, the Hilton Charlotte Executive Park is the perfect location for business meetings, special events, conferences and weddings as well as ideal for business travelers. The DOS will lead a team of four in this full service environment that is prime with opportunity to develop and grow revenue. The DOS will utilize management skills and expand on prior experience in a full service environment to drive results and support a team oriented environment.

The Director of Sales & Marketing is responsible for all aspects of sales, analyzing and achieving strategic objectives and business growth goals. Demonstrates excellent leadership and communication skills with associates, guests and owners. Directs sales associates, builds sales budgets and marketing/business plans, while ensuring the hotel is protected and inventory controls are in place. Ensures all operations are in alignment with the vision of the General Manager, Company and brand standards. Delivers quality service, achieves financial goals and implements short and long term strategies.

3-5 years of hotel sales management experience
Requires knowledge of general sales techniques, yield management, and customer service skills.
Ability to Travel and multi-task
Requires effective business writing ability and communications skills
Vision to read fine print and computer screens, to see colors, to observe rooms in poorly lit conditions
Understand and follow verbal/written instructions
Develop strong internal and customer relations
Sitting 85%, Walking 5%, Standing 5%, bending, kneeling, lifting, climbing 5%
Must have dexterity/mobility to meet clients on and off premises, to tour property and attend functions, to climb stairs, and operate basic office equipment.
Must have own reliable transportation and posses a valid state driver's license in order to make sales calls.
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
4+ years of hotel sales management experience
General office equipment: computer, typewriter, copier, facsimile, telephone, calculator, etc.
Office environment, weather exposure when making sales calls
